Overview
LEAP Preschool provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is thoughtfully planned and engaging, while challenging as well. The classrooms are set up in learning centers which provide materials that encourage children to make independent choices. Teacher directed activities monitor and evaluate the children’s progress. Goals for children’s development and learning are incorporated into the curriculum.
Themes are based on the interests of the children. Activities that are presented are based on the theme and are incorporated into many of the learning centers. Teachers provide meaningful, relevant hands on learning experiences that help children understand and learn basic skills.
